I am a shameless Vespa tragic who couldn't imagine anything in the world more fabulous than an electric Vesapa. But don't get too excited Aussies. Orders are only available in Europe.The news that electric Vespas are in production however, is buzzing to my ears. They have been available in Europe and will also be sold in USA and China this year.The electric Vespa costs around $US7,350 and can be pre-ordered online. It has a range of around 100 km, 4 kW of engine power, a lithium-ion battery that will recharge within 4 hours from a standard electrical socket and obviously no CO2 emissions.
Call me Vespa, when you are headed down under.
